An information site that students actually check.

Association websites tend to be noticeboards nobody visits, because the information is buried and the page feels like an obligation. The old one had the content and lost people on the way to it.

The redesign had a narrow target: make the useful things quick to reach, and make the site pleasant enough that a student returns to it instead of asking in a group chat.

Fresh, but kept simple on purpose.

  Design first, in Figma

  The interface was drawn before it was written, so structure and hierarchy were settled decisions rather than outcomes of the markup.

  Hand-written front end

  HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no framework — proportionate to a site this size, and straightforward for whoever inherits it.

  Information within reach

  The content students come for is surfaced rather than nested, which is most of what makes an association site worth opening twice.

  Animation as polish, not decoration

  Anime.js drives the transitions that make the site feel considered, held back from anything that would slow down finding a date or a name.

Simple, and the better for it.

The result is a visually engaging site that delivers its information plainly — built end to end alone, from the first Figma frame to the last line of JavaScript.
